Young adults

Real friendships. Real faith. Real life in Mumbai.

Selah is a young, gospel-centred community — professionals, artists, students and founders — building genuine friendships and a faith that actually engages the life you’re living. Wherever you are with it all, come as you are; you’ll fit right in.

Young adults together at Selah, Mumbai
You’re among your people here

Consultants and creatives, founders and freelancers, students and those just starting out — Selah is full of people navigating the same season you are.

It’s the kind of room where you can show up on your own, in whatever the week left you wearing, and find people who actually want to know you — not network with you.

Some have followed Jesus for years; others are exploring faith for the first time or simply curious. All of it is welcome here.

A faith that engages your actual life

We take the Bible seriously and each other honestly — faith that meets you in your work, your art, your questions and your ordinary Tuesday, not just an hour on Sunday.

At the heart of it is good news: that we’re loved, forgiven, and made new by God’s grace — not by having our lives, or our beliefs, perfectly sorted. That’s a message worth building a life on, and a community worth doing it with.

Common questions
Is there a church for young professionals in Mumbai?
Yes — Selah is a young, gospel-centred church in Fort, South Mumbai, and a big part of our community is professionals, artists, students and founders in their twenties and thirties. We gather Sundays at 11:30am; come as you are.
Is Selah a good church for young adults and singles?
Very much so. Selah skews young, and families are the backbone of the community. Whatever stage you're at, you'll find people who genuinely get it.
I'm still figuring out what I believe — is that okay?
Completely. Plenty of Selah are exploring faith, asking honest questions, or just curious. You don't need it all sorted to belong here — come, sit with it, and take your time.
I just moved to Mumbai for work — how do I find community?
You're in good company: a lot of Selah moved here for work or study too. The easiest first step is a Sunday — stay for coffee afterwards, and you'll meet people rather than just watch a service.
Where and when does Selah meet?
Sundays at 11:30am at the Church of St. Andrew, Fort (opposite Lion Gate), in South Mumbai — a short walk or auto from Colaba, Churchgate and CST, and easy to reach from right across the city.
